Purpose:
This course will provide you the necessary strategic planning knowledge, associated terminology, and steps to take to build a planning framework and a plan. The course focuses on increasing awareness on how to best leverage the organizational planning framework to effectively inform decision making and more importantly assist oneself in adjusting the plan, resources; and learning how to timely make those necessary tough trade-off decisions.

● Identify the overall purpose and the ability to state key problem(s) being solved through your strategic approach and map out an action plan
● Understand the language, and key elements of Strategy, Business Plans, and Performance Measures/Indicators (key success factor measures)
● Learn to align new projects/work to your Vision; The Logic Model approach
● Learn to use the “IFOH” (Insight, Foresight, Oversight and Hindsight) strategic planning approach
● Learn the fundamentals of Change Management (Day 2)
